BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Randall K. Stegner of Lockport has been elected president of the board of directors of the Sciences Alumni Association of the Âé¶¹´«Ã½o Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.

Stegner is a branch manager for the Site Remediation Division of Water Technology International Corp.

Martha M. Harris, Ph.D., of Buffalo, an attorney with Buchanan Ingersoll, P.C., will continue as secretary/treasurer.

Newly appointed to the board for a three-year term is William F. Sullivan of Cheektowaga, a senior chemist at Calspan SRL Corp.

Appointed as committee chairs are Nancy Markwart of Buffalo, nominations; Ted A. Badura of Orchard Park, membership; Stuart D. Gossels of East Amherst, programming, and Joseph F. Ceravolo, M.D., of Buffalo, networking.

Continuing members of the board are Patricia M. Costanzo, Ph.D., of Elma; Mary E. Stock, M.D., of Buffalo; John R. Tibbetts, D.D.S., of Amherst, and Howard Tieckelmann, Ph.D., of Williamsville.

The Sciences Alumni Association is a multidisciplinary group affiliated with the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, which comprises the departments of Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geology, Mathematics and Physics. It is a constituent group of the UB Alumni Association.
